Relaxation comes in many forms, follow these simple steps to get the most out of your meditation practice for ultimate inner peace.
1.
Set yourself up a space where you can meditate, an area that evokes relaxation, maybe even one that is special and meaningful to you. And start getting comfortable.

Just relax. Relax your spine. Relax your shoulders. Relax your hands. Relax your head. Relax your jaw. Relax your gaze. Eyes opened or close, that's completely up to you but most people find having them closed helps them focus better.
3.
Take some nice deep breaths. A great way to start is to feel your breath going in and out of your belly, passing through the back of your throat and through your nostrils — feeling the gentle rising and falling of your upper torso. For added awareness of your breath, try placing your hands on your belly or chest, feeling the breath moving in and out. Rest your hands once you’ve found a comfortable awareness of your inhales and exhales.

Remind yourself that thoughts are natural and fighting against your thoughts are counter-productive. Be aware of and label/categorize the thoughts as soon as they arise. Express compassion instead of criticism to your thoughts.
