One of the best features and often underutilized is the Point of Interest Shot (or POI). DJI improved POI in the Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom with what they’re now calling; Point of Interest 2.0.
In the original version (POI 1.0) you would need to fly directly above your subject then lock in the GPS position. Then move away from that object, set the radius, height, and speed.
With the newer Point of Interest 2.0 you no longer have to fly directly above the subject to setup the shot. Now you can select the object to orbit at a distance, similar to what you would do with ActiveTrack. It’s a much better, faster, and SAFER method of getting this type of shot. With Point of Interest there are now two (2) modes to choose from. You can select the newer feature called “VISION Point of Interest”. Or you can select the older version called “GPS Point of Interest”.
